'Sure we'll go out for Ramen, Hinata-chan...'

The blond hadn't talked to the Hyuuga girl ever since her awkward confession durin his fight with Pain.
Al lot had happened since then. Tsunade had given up her 'job' as Hokage and everyone had agreed that Naruto was definitely made for it.
So Naruto turned out to actually BE the Rokudaime, as he'd dreamed since he was a little boy.

To be honest, he had not forgotten about Hinata. He had just pushed what she'd said to the back of his mind for the time being. After all, Konohagakure had to be rebuilt.
And he, as the Hokage, had the duty to do all he could to fasten this process.

'Umm...' the blond awkwardly scratched the back of his head, which made his new, red headband twinkle brightly in the morning sun.

'Naruto-kun...about what I said...'

'Let's sit here,' the Rokudaime almost gulped out, as he pulled out the chair opposit him for Hinata.

'Thanks. Now, ... umm...'

'You want an answer, I suppose?'

'Well...yeah.' Hinata replied, her face beet red by now.

'Look...um... I'm really, really sorry about what happened. If I could've avoided you getting hurt, I would have. This is the one thing I really, really hate you for, Hinata...'

'Wh- ... Naruto-kun?' Tears formed in the Hyuuga girl's lavender eyes s she watched Naruto's forehead wrinkle in thought.

'For always trying to help other people and getting yourself hurt in the process. This could get difficult once we're married and have kids.'

...

'Wh...at?'

As the purple haired girl looked up, she spotted the blond's infamous fox grin in its most perverted form on her beloved's face.

'That's NOT Funny! Stop laughing already!'

'You're gonna have to make me,' the blond laughed heartedly, but soon just set for a smile as he saw Hinata's face inch closer to his, her usual blush invisible ...

no, i didn't see that other drawing ^__^ i just figured since it was around summer time she would want the bangs outta her forehead some time ;D so technically, it's not cut ^_^ xD
